AUCKLAND SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK 2018
In our third decade of Real Bardolatry
During January & February Shoreside Theatre again presents two Shakespeare’s plays true to his writings and visualisations. With performances of “The Comedy of Errors” alternating with “Romeo and Juliet” you have the choice of a comedy or a tragedy – OR BOTH.
“Romeo and Juliet” and the course of true love starts the 22nd consecutive season on Saturday, January 20th for two nights and is followed on Tuesday the 23rd with the opening night of “The Comedy of Errors”, Shakespeare’s first venture into comedy.
The two plays from then on alternate throughout the season until February 17th
Shakespeare’s genius in both modes exposes the most powerful of human emotions and these Shoreside Theatre presentations are aimed to be true to his visualisations.
