Shoreside Theatre Presents
David Mamet’s

Glengarry Glen Ross
Directed by James Bell

Glengarry Glen Ross is David Mamet’s classic play about the lives of four real estate agents prepared to engage in any number of unethical or illegal schemes to sell undesirable real estate to unwitting prospective buyers.

Pitted against each other in a ruthless sales competition, the four agents vie for top place on the leader board. At the end of the month first place wins a new car, second place a set of steak knives and third place gets fired.

Winner of the 1984 Pulitzer Prize, Mamet’s comedy is ruthless in its depiction of the men and women whose lives and values are twisted in order to survive. One of the most influential plays of the 20th century, Glengarry Glen Ross shows Mamet at the height of his literary and dramatic powers.
